Axton Landing to Raquette Falls and then to Moody Landing on Tupper Lake is a two night/three day canoe trip. We begin our trip at Axton Landing on the Raquette River and paddle to Raquette Falls where we will camp for the night. On day two we paddle back down the Raquette River to camp along the way. On day three we paddle through Simond Pond and take out at Tupper Lake Moody Landing. The majority of the trip is paddling flat water on the Raquette River, and is a great option for people who want to paddle on a river without doing any portages (carrying the boats and equipment over land). There are wonderful opportunities for observing wildlife. Our trip meets at our Saranac Lake Base. Your guide will provide tips for paddling, portaging, and camp setup, in addition to cooking amazing food.
Cost Per Person includes your choice of boat from our rental fleet, as well as the guide, camping gear, food and transportation from our Base.
Basic Cost: $875 per person with minimum of two people
Group Rate: $675 per person with minimum of four people
