This is an overnight trip in the Whitney Wilderness Area. Many consider Lake Lila to be the most beautiful in the park. We include a 1.1 mile hike up Mt Frederica which provides one of the best views anywhere. Participants will each carry a backpack of gear or a lightweight Kevlar canoe for the 1/3 mile trip into the lake. Our trip meets at our Saranac Lake Base. Your guide will provide tips for paddling, portaging and camp setup as well as providing amazing food.
Cost per person includes your choice of boat from our rental fleet, as well as the guide, camping gear, food and transportation from our Base.
Basic Cost: $625 per person with minimum of two people.
Group Rate: $475 per person with minimum of four people.
Trip is arranged at your request. We recommend at least a month's advance reservation for all guided trips.
