This is a 4-5 hours paddle trip including Middle Saranac, the Saranac River and Lower Saranac Lake. Beautiful beaches and island studded lakes are connected by the Saranac River and the Upper Locks. Traversing this old fashioned, hand operated Lock is both fun and fascinating for adults and children alike. A visit to Bluff Island includes a walk to the top of the bluff for a spectacular view of the Adirondack High Peaks. Optional environmental & cultural history tours available at your request.
